What is the debtflex difference?

A Word From The CEO - Ashley Saltzman

“I believe that one of the key indicators to measure the health of a company is the total of their overdue debtors.

The flow-on effects to an organisation of customers not paying their invoices on time are significant. There is an impact on cashflow, which can leave a business vulnerable and exposed, with an inability to operate or pay staff, creditors and overheads.

debtflex started as a service for helping organisations resolve their overdue invoices in dispute. However we quickly discovered a much broader problem in the market with companies complaining about a growing cashflow issue, due to their customers taking longer to pay their invoices.

We expanded our range of services to help companies get to the source of these problems, to understand why they are happening in the first place.

Through our 20+ years of experience in the end-to-end receivables process, we are able to identify why the size of a debtors ledger is increasing; if the problem is due to people, processes or simply slow paying customers; and why are invoices being disputed.

We call this debt resolution – and this is our expertise.”

debt resolution: the step before you bring in the debt collectors.

the debtflex approach

We reverse-engineer the debt resolution process in order to understand what is going wrong and what needs to be fixed.

Step 1: Negotiate with your customer to resolve the debt that is in dispute.
Step 2: Understand the root cause of the dispute? How did this problem happen in the first place? Is there is a pattern of repeat behaviour? Identify if the issue in your organisation is a people, process or customer problem.
Step 3: Conduct an end-to-end review of the process - from invoice to cash collection.
Step 4: Present a range of recommendation and agree on the actions to take and the areas to fix.
Step 5: Provide the tools for better visibility and regular reporting on the Accounts Receivable position.
